Friday morning we packed all the kayaking gear and headed to Plattling. We arrived at the evening but there were still many Germans paddlers in the water. They were preparing for next day because they had a qualification for European championships at Saturday. Our plan was stay there over night and than go to Augsburg but at the Plattling we were told that Augsburg is not running for longer time because of lack of water. So we changed our plan and stayed there until monday. Saturday we watch a qualification of Germans but we did not enter because it was a close competition. We paddle between the event but water was still dropping and it started to be flushy and dangerous because the rock was just 5cm under water. Monday it was even lower as over the weekend. It was very difficult to do some move there and stick it there. I hope the water for WC will be better but if not we had a good training there. Tuesday morning we move to Augsburg. We got a call that it is running because of German slalom qualification. We were really lucky we did not miss this opportunity to train there because we heard that maybe right after this event it will be closed again. So we tried to train between the official teams trainings. It was not easy but we found some free hours for us. Hole in Augsburg is really difficult so it was very important for us to get used it before WC start. I think we did well specially Peter with his new boat he was like machine. After two days of training we drove to Czech republic to Pilsen where was a Grand opening ceremony for their new playspot which local paddlers build themselves. They also had a qualification for EC. We also tried their new hole. It is quite hard but very good for preparing for competitions. You need to do everything very fast and with powerful strokes. After a week and half we got back home but we do not keep in home long. Wednesday we will go to Graz to prepare for first cup of Apline cups. It will be in Saturday. Hope we will come home with gold!
