We picked up my new boat right from factory at Saturday morning and headed to Augsburg. I was so excited to try it so we stopped in Plattling. It was quite late but I needed to test it. After fixing all the things I sit to my brand new boat for first time and jumped to the hole. I was super nice surprised how good it is and I didn’t have any problems to get use to it. I feel like it is make just for me. Everything was easy to do. I did the macnasties and phoenyx monkeys like never before- huge and so fast! I am still excited! We slept there and in the morning we drove to Augsburg. The hole here- Waschemaschine is quite difficult to paddle. It is very powerful and trashy. I was little bit worried because it is not very deep and you can hit the bottom easily. We been here 2 times before this year but I never needed to care much about my old plastic boat. Now it change and I treat my Stealt like a princes but still I hit the bottom and rocks many times. Fortunately nothing happened because construction is made very good and strong. Now I am practicing on Mc nasties and Phoenyx-monkeys to right side. To left side it is quite difficult to stick it. Loop is not that easy but if you do it right than you can flight really really high. I think composite boats have a very big advantage, not just here. I didn’t know before because I didn’t try it but from that time when I first sit to my boat- 4 days ago:) I never want to paddle plastic boat! I love my boat and I am very thankful to Peter and Vajda company that they shaped the boat for me because this if first small composite boat on the market. Now also girls or smaller paddlers can enjoy the advantage of light composite boat. I enjoy kayaking even more like before.
The competition starts at Saturday so we still have some days to practice. I will keep you update.
